The short version: PassportSnap runs entirely in your browser. We can't see your photo because there is no server to send it to.

Uploaded photos: nothing. Photos you select stay inside your browser tab. AI background removal, cropping, and sheet rendering all happen client-side using WebAssembly. We don't transmit, store, or process your photos on any server.
Basic analytics: we use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics (page views, country, device class). No cookies that identify you personally, no tracking across sites, no third-party advertising networks profiling you.
Contact emails: if you email us we keep the message until the issue is resolved, then delete it.
One feature — AI clothes change — sends a cropped version of your face to an AI provider for re-rendering. This feature is opt-in: you only use it when you click the "Change clothes" button. The provider does not retain images beyond the request. Background removal does not use this feature.
We use a single local-storage key (ps-theme) to remember your light/dark mode choice. That's it. No third-party cookies are set by PassportSnap itself.
PassportSnap is not directed at children under 13. Since we don't collect personal data, there is no children's data to delete — but if you believe a child has interacted with the service and want to discuss it, please contact us.
Because we don't store personal data, there is nothing to export, correct, or delete on request. For aggregate analytics, opting out of cookies in your browser is sufficient.
If we materially change how the tool handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
